A Painting Finished, Without Rushing It

This painting came together over several sessions.

I worked with repetition, interruption, and return — allowing the structure to form without forcing a meaning onto it.

While finishing it, I noticed how much pressure I’ve been carrying in life, and how important it is for me to let the work be steady even when circumstances are not.

I’m sharing the finished piece here, along with a detail from the process.

Art, for me, is not about proving anything. It’s a way of staying in relationship with myself.

Thank you for being here.
